GUANACASTE, COSTA RICA
At the end of July I travelled to Guanacaste Costa Rica with a team of 9 other awesome people from my local church to do missions work! My experience was incredible & life changing. You probably hear that a lot from people who get back from a missions trip, but it is 100% the truth! I am now encouraging you and everyone else to go on a mission trip if you get the opportunity.
My team partnered with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) and we got to work with many different ministries whilst we were down there (street ministry, maternity ministry, youth ministry, kids ministry, bible distribution and more) —if you want to hear more about the details we might just need to grab a cup of coffee and chat, we experienced so much!
I took a Canon PowerShot G15 camera down with me, as it is nice and compact, but still takes high quality pictures— I am actually really impressed with this camera’s capabilities! I didn’t put much focus on photography down there, but here are a few pictures that I snapped of the beautiful country.
Pura Vida! // [a common hello or goodbye costa ricans say. It directly translates to “pure life” or “simple life”, but to them it really means the way of life they live – they are very thankful and happy with what they have “going great” “really living” “taking it easy”]
